I tell myself I play the game just enough to survive, but the truth is I am as hopelessly part of the system as anyone else. As I walk through the empty streets on a quiet night, I drift away from the things that tie me down.; my tranquility interrupted by a symbol of domination. I snap back to reality only to conclude there is no escape from what we have created. It’s ok though, I’ll just have to do my best at thinking for myself.
