Process: Photo Print Wheat Pated on Gator Foam and Covered in a Clear Resin
Born from the Streets is a series where I take images from the streets and put them in an environment that expresses those very same streets. I at an urban style base, plywood, and fencing, and take elements from the streets, and layers of spray paint to create a canvas. Then the photoprint what affixed to the canvas using wheat past. Lastly, the print is covered in Art Resin to protect it.
Part of the BARE USA collection this photo was taken in the abandoned Fisher Body Plant in Detroit. It’s a departure from the style found in most of the BARE USA collection but it spoke volumes to the experience there, so I had to include it.
